The Sir Peter Ustinov Foundation launches campaign for better education

March 24, 2015 – The Sir Peter Ustinov foundation launched a new campaign to help children around the world have better access to education, through the song “Children of the World” by Sophie Schwerthöffer, 15-year-old German opera talent.

For each download of “Children Of the World”, a minimum of 50 cent will go to the Ustinov #GiveSchool Initiative, that will contribute to the development of multiple education activities worldwide.
The foundation started the campaign in the forefront of the annual UN World Education Forum in South Korea in May 2015, to call the world’s attention to the fact that 100 million children worldwide don’t have access to education. For the last 10 years the Ustinov Foundation has initiated and supported more than 50 aid projects worldwide, including UNICEF.

The Sir Peter Ustinov Foundation, based in Frankfurt, Germany, was founded in 1999 by Sir Peter and his son Igor Ustinov who still chairs the charity arm of the Ustinov family to this day.
